CICS Explorer not displaying installed BUNDLE

Question

Do you know what could stop CICS Explorer from displaying the BUNDLEs that are installed in my CICS Transaction Server for z/OS (CICS TS) region? We are using CICS Explorer version 5.3.0.12.201704181005 and z/OS V2.1.

Answer

CICS security is stopping you from seeing the BUNDLE(s) from CICS Explorer. To resolve this problem, you can turn OFF resource security checking in CICS by changing the system initialization table (SIT) parameter XRES to NO (XRES=NO). Alternatively, if you leave resource security checking on then you will need to make sure you define the following RACF definitions:

RDEF CPSMOBJ CLOUD..?PLEXNAME?. UACC(NONE) OWNER(?GRP_ADMIN?)
PE CLOUD..?PLEXNAME?. CLASS(CPSMOBJ) ID(?GRP_ADMIN?) A(UPDATE)
