Question & Answer

Question

Under the z/OSMF Configuration Assistant, what are the panels needed to create a TLS 1.2 policy?

Answer

When configuring an AT-TLS policy using z/OSMF Configuration Assistant, then from the ATTLS perspective panel, i.e. Configuration Assistant (Home) ->AT-TLS , you would select the Security Levels tab, then create a new security level by clicking Actions > New, or selecting an existing security level and clicking Actions > Copy. The next panel Configuration Assistant (Home) ->AT-TLS -> Security Level will give you the option to select the desired TLS protocols: TLS V1.2, TLS V1.1, TLSV1.0 or SSL V3
