This article details the steps needed in order to successfully enable local help for IBM Developer for z Systems.

To enable local help follow the steps below:
Download the IDz140_UpdateSite.zip
http://download.boulder.ibm.com/ibmdl/pub/software/rationalsdp/documentation/updatesites/IDz140_UpdateSite.zip
In IDz click on Window, Preferences, Help, Remote Assistance Config.
Select the Help option listed and Disable, Apply & OK.
Now select, Help, Install New Software...
On the Install panel select Add, select Archive... browse to the IDz140_UpdateSite.zip file, OK.
Check the box for 'Uncategorized', Next, etc....
Note: Compiled Language Debugger User Assistance & Data Tools tutorial feature will come up as 'Will not be installed'.
