What is required to migrate ODM 7.5.0.4 running on AIX 7. and WAS ND 7 to ODM 8.8.0.1 running on Liberty Base 17.0.0.1?

To make it simple,

If migrating a Rule Execution Server and keeping the same database type, you simply need to configure the new ODM 8.8.0.1 server accessing the current repository and make sure to stop the WAS / AIX RES before starting the Liberty server. See documentation chapter Migrating the runtime environment for more details.
If migrating a Decision Center, the new server must be configured with a new schema and the ODM 7.5 Decision Center repository must be migrated following documentation chapter Migrating the Decision Center database.

Please pay attention to the fact that ODM 8.8 only supports Liberty 8.5.5.4 and above fixpack. Not Liberty 17 or 16. Please see ODM 8.8 System Requirements.
