Is IBM Record Generator for Java V3.0 compatible with all supported versions of Java Software Developers Kit (SDK)?
Answer
The IBM Record Generator for Java version 3.0 requires a Java 7 compatible Java Runtime Environment (JRE) to build the helper classes, this includes the IBM Java SDK V7.0, V7.1 or V8.0 on z/OS.
If running on a distributed platform the JZOS API toolkit is also required, and is supplied for redistribution by the Java SDK on z/OS in the ibmjzos.jar.
Note: You will also need a compiler to compile the generated Java code.
