I am unable to run the cleartool update command passing the - ptime parameter. I am able to run it without, and am able to preserve file timestamps from the UI. I have been unable to find any others with similar issues in the forums or on the web.
cleartool update -ptime cleartool: Error: Operation "ws_set_ptime_prop" failed: error detected by ClearCase subsystem.
Thanks Lee

Hi Lee, Are there any errors in the view log? i.e permission errors or similar?
What OS and CC version is this?
No errors in the logs related to permissions. Just this error. Updating without is fine, and updating with either time option from the gui is fine as well.
