Question & Answer
Question
How can we display the IDS attack rule name for each attack type?
Answer
From the TSO environment, issue either of these two commands:
NETSTAT IDS
NETSTAT IDS SUMMARY
From the UNIX shell environment, issue either of these two commands:
netstat -k
netstat -k SUMMARY
In the displayed output, the section Attack Detection will display, for each attack type, a value for PlcRuleName. That value will be either the attack rule name or NONE if no policy is active for the attack type.
