I am trying to deploy a service to an embedded z/OS Connect Enterprise Edition (zCEE) server running in CICS Transaction Server for z/OS (CICS TS) using the new feature available in V3.0.3 of the Toolkit. When I try try to deploy I receive message:

BAQR7062E: z/OS Connect service install failed. The provider property CICS-1.0 in the service archive file does not match any of the install service providers

If I first export the SAR and then FTP it to the services directory the service installs with no problems.

Answer

In this case, there were multiple zCEE servers configured and the deploy request was sent to the wrong zCEE server that did not have the CICS-1.0 feature configured. The ipaddress specified for the server was incorrect.

After correcting the ipaddress to point to the correct zCEE server where the CICS-1.0 feature was installed, the service deployed successfully.
