The instructions at https://console.bluemix.net/docs/pricing/account_faq.html#cancelaccount "In the console, go to the Manage > Billing and Usage > Billing page and click Deactivate Account." Don't work for me, that option it doesn't exist.
I created a ticket since November 2017 (Ticket: 50984141) and no answer yet. Moreover, I sent an e-mail to accounting@softlayer.com and neither.
Unbelievable, I cannot cancel and IBM account automatically (via web).
Can you show us a screen shot of the bottom of the Billing page? On my accounts, I have a Deactive account option. What kind of account do you have? I just chatted with support..."You would need to reach out to our Accounting team so that they can cancel the account - https://knowledgelayer.softlayer.com/topic/accounting" They obviously don't offer online one-click cancellation. Very inconvenient. You would expect something better from IBM.
