Is superuser authority needed to run USS jobs in PARMGEN?

One of the enhancements included in PARMGEN 4Q17 PTF (OA53974 - UA94193) is that superuser authority is no longer required to run the USS jobs (KCIJPUSP/KCIJPUSS). You still need to have read access to the BPX.SUPERUSER resource in the FACILITY class to allow the 'su' command to be issued.
If you have a new environment, the fix will be implemented automatically when you run through the configuration. But if you have an existing environment, you need to follow scenario SMPE02 or SMPE03 (applying SMP/E maintenance to an existing environment either using IBM defaults or specifying your own) to incorporate this enhancement. For this update to be fully implemented you MINIMALLY need to run:
1) KCIJPCFG (run through the panels and submit the job). This updates the interim work libraries.
2) Run $PARSE or $PARSESV which updates jobs and members for the RTE.
3) Load the RTE R/O (read only) libraries from SMP/E datasets (KCIJPLOD)
4) Run the USS jobs (KCIJPUSP/KCIJPUSS)
