How can we display application data for our TN3270 connections?

Answer

To display application data for your TN3270 connections, issue this command:

D TCPIP,tcpstackname,N,CONN,APPLDATA

For each TN3270 connection, application data will be displayed in the display output.

The application data displayed is structured as follows:

  • column 1...8 : EZBTNSRV

  • column 9 : unassigned

  • column 10...17: LU name

  • column 18 : unassigned

  • column 19...26: SNA application name

  • column 27 : unassigned

  • column 28 : Connection mode

  •               E=TN3270E 3=TN3270 L=Line mode D=DBCS
    
  • column 29 : Emulator type

  •               T=Terminal P=Printer
    
  • column 30 : unassigned

  • column 31 : Security level

  •               B=Basic S=Secure T=AT-TLS
    
  • column 32...33: Security protocol

  •               11=TLSv1.1 T1=TLSv1 S3=SSLv3 S2=SSLv2
    
  • column 34...35: Cipher
