How do you create new Merge field token codes in onboarding?

@QMartinHabitat If you select "Onboard Help" from the left navigation tab in Onboard, you will be brought to the Knowledge Center. From there, you can enter "Correspondence Template" in the search string and many topics will appear. Here is a link to a tutorial that will show you how to insert different system tags (also known as merge tokens) into the correspondence template. http://media.kenexa.com/Training/TSOnboardAdmin/Sims/1_CorrespondenceTemplates/story_html5.html

@QMartinHabitat Is there a specific field you want to add to a correspondence? I could post a screenshot of 1 and you could go from there?

@QMartinHabitat and I were looking to add merge tokens to the correspondence that would represent the new hire's email address, list the users of a specific user type for that particular req.
For example, we want to notify a specific user type on the req that tasks have been reopened for corrections. In that communication template, we'd list out the new hire name, new hire email address, new hire work site, new hire start date.
We couldn't find the merge token to represent the new hire's email address to add to the body of the communication.
And we'd like to list in the body of the communication, all the names of one user type associated with that req. For example, we might have two "AmeriCorps Specialist" users on that req, so I'd like their names to be listed in the body of the communication. What merge token can I use for that? @MikeWeed
You would need to have custom fields in BrassRing and Onboard to use. For example, you would have to put those names on the offer form as custom fields and then map them to custom fields in Onboard. There is no standard token that contains the names of all users of a specific user type. @HowAboutThis
