We recently upgraded to CICS TS V5.4 and one of our CICS BAC Batch Request Utility jobs is no longer working. It is getting messages:
+CBKXA9001E Internal error: code1(00000008) code2(00000004) data(none).
+CBKSC8013E <jobname> CICS region <applid> termination detected during
EXCI process Errorcodes 00000008 000000CB
IEF450I <jobname> <stepname> - ABEND=S000 U3113 REASON=00000000
Answer
The Errorcodes 00000008 000000CB are described in the CICS TS V5.4 IBM Knowledge Center. The x'CB' is decimal 203 indicating 'NO_CICS'.
It is recommended to inspect the CICS TS joblog to ensure IRC (Interregion Communication) is in 'OPEN' status, for example, a DFHIR3780 message may have been issued.
