Question
I want all the users of my application to see the panel id whenever they enter my application. Is there some way to force panelid from within my application?
Answer
You can add the following select statement to your dialog to force PANELID ON:
Address ISPEXEC "SELECT PGM(ISPOPI) PARM(ON) NOFUNC"
If individual users want to display the panel ID while running ISPF, they can either select the “Panel identifier” choice from the Identifier pull-down on the ISPF Settings panel action bar, or enter the ISPF system command PANELID ON.
You can also display other information in the panel ID area. See the Settings (Option 0) chapter in the ISPF User's Guide Vol II.
