Does OMEGAMON products support using EAV volumes for temporary datasets when using System Variables?
All my PARMGEN jobs completed with good return codes but when I try to bring up my zTEMS PROC, I see these messages:
LSCX502 WARNING ERRNO = ESYS Generated in FOPEN called from line 214 of @@320897(EXEC) , offset 0008D2 System macro "OBTAIN" failed with return code 24 And I also see:
Unable to open specified file.
Answer
Currently EAV (Extended Address Volumes) are not supported for temporary datasets that are allocated when you start an OMEGAMON or zTEMS PROC. These temporary datasets are created to replace system variables with your actual values for the system your are running on. Please allocate these datasets to non-EAV volumes in PARMGEN.
