Question by bramdesmedt  (1) | Jul 16, 2018 at 10:08 AM spssspsslicensingerrortriallogin

Hello,

I recently downloaded and installed the SPSS trial version. When I open it gives me a startscreen with three options (trial, license product or buy now). When i click on the trial version I have to log in with my ID. After that it gives me a screen with an overview of my products and active subscriptions. However, SPSS itself doesn't seem to open and when I close the screen I have to log in again, but I never get the actual SPSS program.

Anyone knows which steps I have to follow to open it and get the program instead of all the marketing clutter.

Regards

@bramdesmedt

On which operating system you have installed? I believe I found your IBM ID on database and it seems your subscription ID is 503156495. I do not see any conflicts for this ID on database and asked development if they see provisioning issues on server, it can take some time until they respond but we can add some extra days to the trial once they found an error.

Normally you click on start button where you see your installed programs, select IBM SPSS statistics Subscription and the program launches after you entered your IBM web ID.

regards, Bettina

@bramdesmedt

We do not find any activation of the trial software in the database for your IBM ID .
Maybe you use another ID?
We suggest to uninstall the software from Control panel, then reinstall by right click on the installer file and select 'run as administrator' (for example this file: SPSSStatisticsSubscription_x64.exe)

after that launch the trial again.
If it still does not work provide the exact error message here with screenshots and on which exact operating system you have installed
