We have z/OS 2.1 and are running IBM Content Manager for z/OS V8.5 with FP6. One component of the product, the Resource Manager, an HTTP server running out of USS, appears to spawn/fork and another task is started with the same name every night at about 12:30AM. When this task starts the message below is issued at the console. This process also causes all TSO logons to hang. The process must be cancelled at the console in order to free logons. This task is not defined to WLM and does not spawn or fork new tasks. This process has been running for at least two years with no issue. No maintenance or other changes have been applied, but this issue started about one month ago and occurs every evening. How do we prevent this from happening? Any idea why it is happening?
