Why is batch program DFHCSDUP returning the following DFH5145E message when I try to remove a GROUP from LIST (XXXXLIST)?
DFH5145 E COMMAND NOT EXECUTED. XXXXLIST HAS BEEN LOCKED BY
APPLID:XXAPPLID, OPID: TO PREVENT UPDATING.
I brought down the region (that is using the DFHCSD in question), ran the DFHCSDUP VERIFY command against the CSD but I am still getting the error.
Answer
Run online CICS command: CECI CSD UNLOCK LIST(XXXXLIST) to remove the lock then retest the DFHCSDUP job. You should no longer receive message DFH5145l.
