The question is answered, right answer was accepted
I have tried and tried to install SPSS Statistics version 25 on my mac (Running macOS Mojave) for several days now, always with the same results. Licensing says everything works, but i still don't have a valid license, apparently. Have installed the fixpack 1, does not help. See screenshots.
@BettinaW, can you help? I can send you the registration code and license in a PM.

@P U
Thank you for the authorization code in the private reply. It was created by a business partner company and is for:
IBM SPSS Statistics Premium Authorized User V 25
License Expiration Date : February 28, 2019
The code has enough activations left, but I do not find your lock code in the long list of activations for this code and cannot activate it. I suggest you change the lock code from a 10- code to a 4- minus code and then use the same 20 digit authorization code again.
To change your lock code to one that begins with 4- do the below steps.
It assumes you have installed SPSS 25 on default path:
/Applications/IBM/SPSS/Statistics/25/SPSSStatistics.app/Contents/bin
============================================
1) Open up FINDER
2) Open up the APPLICATIONS folder
3) Open up the IBM folder
4) Open up the SPSS folder
5) Open up the Statistics folder
6) Open up the folder for version 25
7) Locate the "SPSSStatistics.app" (application bundle) right click, and choose "Show Package Contents".
8) Open up the "Contents" folder
9) Open up the "bin" folder
10) Locate and Control Click the file echoid.dat and choose Open With, and then choose
TextEdit.app
11) Change the value in the file from 0x010 to 0x004
12) Save the echoid.dat file
13) Delete the current lservrc file in this directory (if one exists, if not continue)
14) Run the License Authorization Wizard of SPSS 25 on /Applications/IBM/SPSS/Statistics/25/ while the computer is connected to the internet . Make sure you see a lock code that begins with 4- on the wizard now. Use the same 20 digit authorization code you got before.
15) Re-launch Statistics 25. The software should now launch without error.
Please let me know
regards, Bettina
@BettinaW Thanks, that finally worked!
Totally non-obvious way to fix the problem, though, maybe you could add it to a FAQ somewhere?
@P U Good it worked now. This seems to happen on some student computer Mac when they are not connected to a company LAN during licensing. We have no not have company customers on Mac reporting this issue so far, nor do we encounter it with our 10- lock codes on our own Mac's with High Sierra or Mojave. At least the workaround worked for you. Thanks for letting me know.

@P U
Can you please provide your 20 digit authorization code you used for licensing so we can check it?
It seems the lock code of the machine is 10-43289 . Maybe we need to change it to a 4- code but first we need to check the authorization code.
Please post the code into the private reply I already send to you on this webpage.
Please include @ sign followed by my display name on your answer, then I will get a notification.
