Hi All,
We have two API Management server (version 5.0.8.4iFix) in cluster with code disk and data disk configured for 10 GB and 50 GB (i know it is not the IBM recommended configuration).
Since we are running out of memory in the data disk very frequently, we have planned to increase the memory from 50 to 150 GB. I can see from the IBM documents, it is not advisable to expand the existing disk, rather we need to add additional disk.
My question is
Will the below method work?
Bring Server1 out of cluster.
Add additional disk to Server1
Add it back to cluster.
Perform the above 3 steps for Server2.
When I add the Server 1 to cluster back in 3rd step, will there be a problem in syncing the configurations as both servers has different disk configuration at this point of time?
Also is there any right way to add additional data disk on both the management servers (which are in cluster) without a down time and without rebuilding from scratch?
Kindly advise.

Hello @SatheeshSelvaraj,
This is Dipali from API connect L2 support.
Yes I can confirm above steps are good. Make sure Server1 comes update fine and added to cluster before adding disk to Server2.
Also it is recommended to take backup before making any changes.
Please let us know if you have any further questions.
Thank you, Dipali

Hi Dipali,
Thanks for confirming.
Is it mandatory to bring the server out of cluster before adding the disk? Or can we directly power off?
Kindly advise.
Regards, Satheesh
