NOOB Question, I am just starting out and have installed domino designer 10 but i don't have all the menus depicted so i can't edit
it's a fresh install of domino designer 10 I just want to make a simple Xpages database but i don't have all the menus. i have gone though all preferences and what not. (yes i am in designer not notes). image 1 out lined in red is what i'm missing . image 2 is what i have in designer. I know the first image is a different version but i can't locate how to get similar menus or anything.
As you can see i when nuts on toolbars .
If getting the menus or setup like the example for designer 10 requires ad-dons please provide links and not just say install BLah i asked someone how to build simple databases and was shown several things on xpages. i can't learn if i can't start
Did you install both Notes and Designer?
And: you are running Designer in Basic mode. That will not work, the Eclipse needs to be present for Designer to work...
yes i installed Notes and Designer
I have not installed Eclipse.
once i have install Eclipse do use Eclipse or will designer function as the picture shows.
or should i use Eclipse as i understand it can do all the stuff but it dose Not seem to have same drag and drop functionality that i can use(as i do not know java..)
Sorry to be a bother about this but all sample pictures and tutorials assume i know how to get to the Depicted diagram. so far with each attempt i learn more and more First attempted i didn't check install designer in the install. Second attempted did but didn't install the feature pack (it would run with out it)
