Downloading SPSS without selecting free trial
I downloaded SPSS on an old laptop and used up my free trial. I would like to download SPSS on my new laptop and add a license (which I now have from my institution). However, I cannot download SPSS onto my new device because my trial expired. How can I download the program without a trial?
Sorry, but there is no public download link for the code based SPSS Statistics package. Your University need to provide the correct software package to you, not only the code.
If you have installed the SPSS trial from IBM Marketplace https://myibm.ibm.com/dashboard/ then this cannot be activated with a 20 digit authorization code because the trial version is NOT the code based SPSS Statistics release.
The trial release is in fact the SPSS Subscription release which does not work with codes.
You need to ask your University for the correct software package SPSS Statistics that can be licensed with an authorization code. This release is available through their passport advantage download section at IBM
