Hi, The Elastic MQ service supports Java applications written either as standalone JMS applications using the WebSphere MQ Classes for JMS or as JEE applications using the WebSphere MQ Resource Adapter. The MQTT protocol is not supported.

If the BlueMix Elastic MQ service were to support the MQ Light APIs as described in our MQ Light Alpha. https://www.ibmdw.net/messaging/mq-light/ Would that satisfy the usecase you have in mind?
