Expo Session: Multi-cloud API Management built with Microservices & Kubernetes

  • Tuesday, September 11, 2018 – 9:25 AM – 9:50 AM – Expo Theater area
  • Speakers – Robert Thelen and Alan Glickenhouse
  • Abstract – Every API Strategy is, by definition, a multi-cloud strategy. Whether you are integrating API proxies, Apps on 3rd Party clouds, or databases spread across geos, you need to be ready to play across public and private clouds.  To be successful in this dynamic world, your API management solution needs to be able to scale microservices independently from zero to millions of API calls per hour, with automatic orchestration tools like Kubernetes.  In this session, we will examine the best practices for creating a flexible and secure multi-cloud API strategy and look at how API Connect’s new microservice-based API Management solution can help any strategy future-proof itself.

IBM will also have a booth in the Expo area where you can stop by for a conversation with our API Subject Matter Experts.
