December is here, Santa Claus is near, and IBM® Cloud APM, Private V8.1.4 is refreshed with some irresistible goodies….
A new agent….health is wealth, which is why the new Monitoring Agent for InfoSphere DataStage has arrived to monitor the health, availability, resource usage, and performance of your DataStage® server resources. This new agent also supports remote monitoring.
Let’s dig deeper into Santa’s bag, could there be agents enhancements in there?
Some monitoring agents now support remote monitoring, transaction tracking, and other operating systems:
- The Monitoring Agent for HTTP Server now supports Windows 32-bit IBM® HTTP Server and Apache HTTP Server.
- For the Monitoring Agent for IBM® Integration Bus and Monitoring Agent for WebSphere MQ, Linux for Power Systems (Little Endian) is now supported.
- For the Monitoring Agent for PostgreSQL and Monitoring Agent for MongoDB agents, support was added for remote monitoring.
We also have some exciting Liberty and J2SE data collector enhancements such as the J2SE data collector now supporting transaction tracking for J2SE applications.
To pick your treat out of Santa’s bag, see the What’s new for the December 2017 refresh of V8.1.4 for more information.
