Use RPA to complete a BPM system activity

Posted: September 22, 2017 Modified: September 22, 2017

In IBM Business Process Manager (IBM BPM), you author and run processes with tasks performed by the system or by users. In system tasks, you typically integrate with external systems using the APIs that your external system has. If the external system doesn’t have any APIs that can be easily consumed by IBM BPM, you can exploit the user interface that the system offers by creating a bot to perform the integration on the glass.

This sample shows you how to create a process in IBM BPM to trigger a bot and create the corresponding bot in IBM RPA with Automation Anywhere that the process triggers.

What’s Included?

This project includes the following components:

  • Toolkit for IBM BPM version 8.6.0
