The Aspera Mobile SDK may be localized to provide enhanced experience in languages other than English. This is accomplished by modifying resource files known as "strings" files, as described in the String Resources section of Apple's "Resource Programming Guide".
Follow these steps in order to localize the SDK to one or more languages:
1) Download the sdk localization resource archive, and extract its contents:
2) Open the SimpleQueue project in XCode and select 'File'->'Add Files to "SimpleQueue"...':
3) Navigate to where you extracted the archive, select the folder 'aspera-sdk-localization-resources' and then click 'Add'. You may leave the checkbox "Copy items..." unchecked if you intend to leave the resources at the original location to which you extracted them. If however you intend to move or delete them then it is recommended that you choose the option to copy the items:
4) The folder 'aspera-sdk-localization-resources' should appear In the left pane in XCode. Select the project in the left pane, then select the project in the inner left pane (above the targets) and then select the "Info" tab. Finally under "localization" press the '+' button and select the language to which you wish to localize:
5) you will be prompted to choose the "files and reference language" to create a localization. Select 'AsperaLocalizable.strings' and 'AsperaMobileModelModel.strings' and any other project files you wish to localize:
6) A copy of the strings file has now been created for the language that you chose. To edit it, expand the triangle that should now appear in the left pane next to AsperaLocalizable.strings and then select the file corresponding to the language you chose:
7) You can now edit this file in accordance with the instructions provided by Apple to localize the SDK. Repeat step 6 for AsperaMobileModelModel.strings to complete localization of the SDK.
