The Chicago Developer Advocates are a talented team of technical professionals whose focus is to activate and develop relationships with leading developer communities in the Chicagoland and Midwest region, including Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio. The IBM Developer Advocacy team sets out to win the hearts and minds of developers through authenticity, community, and technical engagement.
Our mission is to align the digital developer experience with the physical developer experience by building a thriving, connected developer community around open source and the IBM Cloud and Watson platforms. We achieve this initiative by working directly with developers to give them the support and resources they need to succeed, with the ultimate goal of increasing the number and engagement of active developers on IBM platforms.
We are co-organizers in several Meetup groups: Big Data Developers in Chicago, Chicago Cloud Developers, IBM Cloud – Chicago, Chicago Java Users Group, and Open Source Analytics - Chicago. Come and learn at our meetings, and maybe present as well!
