At this week’s inaugural Think conference in Las Vegas, Nevada, IBM will announce technologies, resources, and open source contributions that will make users of artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities take notice.

With these announcements, IBM has responded to data and insights from MIT studies that suggest while most organizations now understand the transformational potential of AI, very few fully understand how to unlock the value inherent in their organization’s data.

Because of that need, enterprise coders and data scientists, now more than ever, need a trusted source for knowledge and tools to smooth their path. They have become the front line of AI, and they are being asked by their organizations to put AI theory into practice at an ever increasing rate.

That puts them on the leading edge of this massive technological shift, but also in high demand. In response, users are asking for more resources and tools to simplify their work with deep learning and AI.

Today, IBM is expanding its capabilities for that need by providing a diverse range of new resources and assets intended to help the global community of developers, data scientists, and professionals move up the AI learning curve and become productive quickly and efficiently. You can learn about each of these in the following blog posts. They include:

At Think 2018, attendees will also have the opportunity to speak with IBM executives and developer advocates about these new capabilities and IBM’s open source approach to technology, including AMA sessions with my colleague, Chris Ferris, and me:
