Max Katz


Max Katz is the City Leader/Developer Advocate (San Francisco) for IBM’s Digital Business Group. Max leads a team of technical advocates, business development, marketing/events and community outreach staff. Max engages directly with partners, customers, and developers about latest technologies. Before IBM, Max led developer advocacy for, a cloud-based mobile app platform. Max helped grow the platform from zero to over 400,000 developers. Max is the author of two books “Practical RichFaces” (Apress 2008, 2011), DZone MVB (Most Valuable Blogger), and is a frequent speaker at developer events and conferences.
