Members of Project Owl, winners of the 2018 Call For Code Global Challenge, carry out a second field test of their post-disaster, fast deploy mesh network. They chose a suburb in Katy, Texas where Hurricane Harvey brought widespread flood damage in 2017. Project Owl aims to deliver a disaster management solution providing analytics, communications, and organizational capabilities to streamline disaster preparation, management, and recovery efforts.
