Get ready to submit your solution

Get tips from the Call for Code CTO on how to make your solution stand out from other submissions. Hear what’s on the submission checklist so you’ll be ready to submit on July 31, 2020, for a chance to win $200,000 USD.

The goal of Call for Code is to create a sustainable open source project that can be deployed quickly and scaled around the world, similar to what the previous winners — Project OWL and Prometeo — built in prior years. Those teams did well because they clearly outlined what their solution could do for the specific use case that it was built for. Not only did they have feature-complete code, but they documented the problem they were solving in an effective way, including a complete README file and a compelling video that helped the judges clearly see the value of their solution. Keep in mind that Call for Code judges include technology and domain experts, so your submission should be easily understood by a broad audience. You can provide additional deeper technical detail in your source code repository, if needed.
