The IBM Campaign Connector to LiveRamp lets marketers upload (segment) data from IBM Campaign to Acxiom LiveRamp. By matching IBM Campaign offline IDs (such as customerid) with Acxiom LiveRamp data (such as cookies), marketers can augment existing data to target customers with personalized messages and ads. Additionally, Acxiom can use the offline data from Campaign to do Look-alike modeling.
Marketers create segments in IBM Campaign, export them to a CSV file, and upload the data to LiveRamp using SFTP. An upload script is called as an outbound trigger in the flowchart to upload the CSV files to LiveRamp. In this way, IBM Campaign provides offline IDs to LiveRamp, which uses its DMP data to match the IBM Campaign data with its own information.
