[VIRTUAL] Red Hat OpenShift World Tour Austin Workshop!
March 19, 2020
UPDATE: OUT OF PRECAUTION IN RESPONSE TO COVID-19, IBM DEVELOPER AUSTIN EVENTS WILL BE STREAMED ONLINE UNTIL THE RISK HAS PASSED.
Since the world loves to put women in boxes, let’s create our own and encourage more women to get into the Engineering & Containers space! This is a hands-on workshop that will require the use of a laptop, so please bring a computer if you would like to follow along.
Red Hat® OpenShift® on IBM Cloud is an extension of the IBM Cloud Kubernetes Service, where IBM manages OpenShift Container Platform for you.
With Red Hat OpenShift on IBM Cloud, developers have a fast and secure way to containerize and deploy enterprise workloads in Kubernetes clusters. OpenShift clusters build on Kubernetes container orchestration that offers consistency and flexibility for your development lifecycle operations.
In this workshop we will show you how to create your own OpenShift cluster on the IBM Cloud, how to use the oc CLI (command line interface) and how to use the OpenShift Web Console to deploy applications.
In order to run these workshops, you need an IBM Cloud account. You can sign up for one here: http://ibm.biz/osworldtouraustin
