Due to the overwhelming interest in the World of Watson conference and hackathon and to ensure we can accommodate everyone, the event will be moved to IBM Insight in Las Vegas in the fall. If you already registered for World of Watson, you will receive a full refund.
Have the urge to get hacking before then? Register for our Watson Developer Challenge. You’ll have the chance to build a conversational interface powered by Watson APIs for a chance to win up to $6,750 in prizes.

Want to see Watson™ in action? Now’s your chance. Join a select group of developers, entrepreneurs, academics, and business leaders who are using cognitive computing to redefine industries.

Collaborate. Create. Win. That’s the motto of the 2016 World of Watson hackathon. Who doesn’t like to collaborate, create cool innovative applications, and win great prizes? Plus, you can get feedback from the engineers and developers behind the IBM Watson services. Taking place May 21-22, at Pier 36 in New York City, the World of Watson hackathon is your chance to engage with the IBM Watson team and other enterprising hackers like yourself to build what’s never been possible before.

As you know, preparation is key for any hackathon. To make sure you get the most from your time at the event, you’ll want to get familiar with the Watson APIs and what they can do. You must have the essential tools and documentation to get headed in the right direction.
