Unlike our traditional blockchain workshops, this workshop will head straight to exploring a framework for creating permissioned Blockchain networks, Hyperledger Fabric.
Hyperledger Fabric falls under Hyperledger, an open source collaborative effort, hosted by The Linux Foundation. The Hyperledger project was created to advance cross-industry blockchain technologies.
Hyperledger Fabric is a blockchain framework implementation, intended as a foundation for developing applications or solutions with a modular architecture. Hyperledger Fabric allows components, such as consensus and membership services, to be plug-and-play. Hyperledger Fabric was initially contributed by Digital Asset and IBM, as a result of the first hackathon. Workshop attendees will learn about the different options available for creating permissioned blockchain networks on Hyperledger Fabric.
This session will end with a workshop where attendees will learn how to deploy chaincode written in Node.js on the IBM Blockchain Platform and interact with the deployed network through the Hyperledger Fabric Node SDK.
