Build your own AI-powered app

November 26, 2019 3:00 pm CET

Where most people see challenges, developers see possibilities. If you’re passionate about technology and want to find out more about revolutionary ideas, join us at this session with IBM. During this workshop, you’ll gain a better understanding of:

• how you can use APIs to communicate with devices
• how to use open source tools to build applications quickly
• how the Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence are a powerful combination

This session will be practical and hands-on. You’ll build an app powered with AI technology, like a virtual assistant. Next to some of the different available AI APIs, we’ll use open source software like Node-RED. You’ll need to bring along your own laptop if you wish to take part.

We will be using IBM Cloud free account for this session, but you will be able to use the Node-RED skills you learn on any platform that supports Node.js, including Raspberry Pi. You can also take a look at the following for more information on Node-RED:

• 14:45 – Doors open, coffee & tea available
• 15:00 – Workshop begins
• 17:00 – End
