Weshalb sollen Unternehmen neue Prozesse und Geschäftsmodelle basierend auf KI entwickeln? Welche Kompetenzen sind dafür im Unternehmen notwendig? Welche Erfolgsfaktoren zum Gelingen von KI-Projekten gibt es?

Dr. Bashar Altakrouri und Matthias Biniok sind KI-Experten bei IBM und entwickeln gemeinsam mit Kunden die Prozesse und Geschäftsmodelle der Zukunft. Die Referenten berichten aus ihrer umfangreichen Praxis-Erfahrung aus verschiedenen KI-Projekten.

Die Referenten beantworten die Frage, weshalb Unternehmen überhaupt neue Prozesse und Geschäftsmodelle basierend auf KI entwickeln sollten und welche Kompetenzen dafür im Unternehmen nötig sind. Außerdem werden zentrale Erfolgsfaktoren zum Gelingen von KI-Projekten und aktuelle Trends in der Industrie dargelegt. Anhand von erprobten Use Cases und Beispiel-Projekten aus der Praxis werden die verschiedenen Einsatzmöglichkeiten von KI im Unternehmen gezeigt.

Zu den Referenten:
Matthias Biniok studied computer science and IT management in Jena, Tel Aviv and Frankfurt am Main. He worked in several departments at IBM, e.g. as project manager in transformation projects in the banking industry. Because of his high interest in artificial intelligence Matthias started working as Cognitive Solution Architect at IBM Watson in Munich. In December 2017 Matthias was appointed Lead Watson Architect for the DACH region. He is project lead and AI architect of Project CIMON (sending an autonomously free-flying robot with AI powered by IBM Watson to the international space station). Since 2020 Matthias is leading the MVP Team in DACH, building innovative minimum viable products and hybrid cloud / AI solutions with clients in a co-creation style, as well as leading the Space Tech Division DACH to position IBM as leading technology provider for the space industry.

Dr. Bashar Altakrouri is a Technical Leader and Certified Expert Architect for Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) with 14 years of international experience in consulting, designing, developing and delivering smart interactive systems in electronics, entertainment and smart facilities and assets. He is currently leading various unique strategic partnerships, co-locations and projects at the IBM Watson Center Munich in Germany. Dr. Altakrouri holds a Doctoral degree with great honors for his work on engineering Internet of Things systems as well as a Master of Science (MS.c) degree in digital media from Germany. He has received numerous corporate and academic awards for his contributions to clients, technology and research form DAAD, IEEE, IBM, and ACM.
