The global climate crisis is inextricably linked to water. Higher temperatures and more extreme weather events are projected to affect the availability and distribution of rainfall, snowmelt, river flows, and groundwater, and further deteriorate water quality. Low-income communities, already the most vulnerable to any threats to water supply, are likely to be the worst affected.
The Call for Code Starter Kit on Water sustainability contains two examples and we will give you an overview on those:
1. Create an IoT device (e.g. based on an ESP8266) to collect local weather data and stream it to the IBM Cloud for further analysis
2. Use global or local weather data provided by The Weather Company via API
