In partnership with the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights and the Linux Foundation,
IBM launched the 4th Call For Code Global Challenge (https://developer.ibm.com/callforcode/) at the end of March 2021, a call to developers, data scientists and anyone with innovative ideas to contribute to addressing today’s big challenges.
From mitigating the devastating effects of natural disasters to reversing the effects of climate change on our planet to help communities respond and emerge stronger from the COVID-19, technology has the power to spur action and help solve humanitarian and societal problems around the world.
Since its inception in 2018, Call for Code has attracted more than 400,000 developers from 179 countries who have built more than 15,000 apps, making it the largest technology for a TechForGood initiative.
In 2021, this community will tackle the effects of climate change.
