Machine learning and conversational AI helps organizations of all industries achieve more personalized customer interactions. Applications infused with predictive and conversational capabilities provide a new, exciting way to enhance the customer experience. Sam will walk through a simple demonstration in which a retailer quickly creates both a predictive model with Watson Machine Learning and a custom chatbot using the Watson Conversation API. Both of these are then leveraged by the retailers’ website in order to provide an enhanced experience for its customers.
Sam is a Client Technology Specialist on the IBM Cloud Analytics team, helping clients successfully leverage their data to drive business value. Prior to IBM, his background was in software engineering. An Iowa native, Sam currently lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
