Please walk us through your entrepreneurial journey and background before you started? Any interesting stories?

The founders Ravi Teja and Ravi Raja are brothers. Ravi Teja used to face lot of attendance shortage in his engineering college. Teja used to face some problem to wake up early in the morning. His father felt that Teja will go and attend classes if he come near college in the morning. So, his father asked him to call from a coin box(Coin operated telephone) located near his college to authenticate that he is on time to college.

Many parents are facing that kind of problems and the parents are notified only if the child’s attendance is less that 30-40%, parent cannot do anything at that point of time. We have build this solution to keep parents posted about each and every activity which happens in the school/college.

Unihalt’s vision is to harmonize/sync in teachers, parents and students. We created a mesh of communication which people would instinctively opt for. A dream to create the ultimate secure hub of communication between teachers, parents and students.

About founding team

Both Ravi Teja and Ravi Raja are Btech graduates.

Ravi Teja worked in UK based MNC for over 3 years after his graduation. Entrepreneur in him pushed him to leave the job and start his own venture where as Ravi Raja started working with his elder brother while he was in BTech final year itself.

Ravi Raja is a self-motivated Entrepreneur, Full-Stack Developer with appetite to learn and acquire new skills. “When he wakes up in the morning, he don’t think about what he can consume, he will focus on what he can CREATE” this made him to choose this path. Currently he heading Unihalt, ensuring a quick, convenient and instinctive experience for educational institutions and partners. He already worked on several freelance projects and in startups.

Tell us little about your product/ platform

Unihalt provide API based mobile solution to provide two way communication between teachers and parents. Using Unihalt API based solution teachers can broadcast or provide personalised notifications to parents. Parents in turn can revert back with feedbacks. Unihalt’s solution can fit into any existing school management systems to provide necessary features. We also integrate with Biometric/RFID devices to give notifications to parents on arrival of student to the campus. With this solution Parents are updated about the progress of their child, his attendance and about important events in a school/college in his mobile itself.

What is your road ahead for your start-up?

Unihalt is expanding to serve wider customer segments and build data analytics system in terms of security, safety, attendance, examinations/assessments.
