It’s Friday and it is the last day of week 2 from the IBM Integration Bus Workshop led by IBM BetaWorks. It was a busy week for all the participants as they dived in the latest product’s functionalities. Also the students were grasping the ideas behind IBM Hybrid Integration.

Last night the class was able to relax a little and enjoy IBM Hursley site. The students went for a tour of Hursley house, which dates back to the 1720s. Plenty of events have marked the grounds of Hursley house and everyone was amazed by the history of the site. Following that the students browsed the IBM museum with some IBM products dating as early as first decades of the last century.

Later on the class joined in for a BBQ in the IBM Club House and conversed over a drink and needless to say not only about work.
The last day of the workshop is reserved for discussions around the future of IIB and Hybrid Integration. A range of presentations cover topics like design, direction and how IIB evolves.
Finally, the students’ feedback throughout the week have been great and they leave IBM Hursley excited about their time spent here. Moreover, they are all keen to come back again next year.
