Recognition from two industry analysts has boosted IBM App Connect’s start to 2019.

The award-winning integration solution received initial acclaim in the Forrester Wave™: Strategic iPaaS and Hybrid Integration Platforms, Q1 2019 report, and then placed as the leading integration solution in G2 Crowd’s Best Software awards. These acknowledgements follow a momentous year for IBM App Connect in which it launched its Enterprise offering and reached new customers with its iPaaS solution.

Forrester analyses 15 vendors against a broad criterion in its annual evaluation of the strategic iPaaS and HIP market. It found that market growth is driven by a greater recognition of integration as a key element in an organisation’s digital transformation, coupled with the simplification, growing capability and accessibility of modern solutions.

IBM performed well against the analysis, with Forrester noting particular strength in multiple areas including strategy, flexible pricing, user accessibility, agile architecture and, in line with the newly-launched Cloud Integration platform (CIP), breadth of offering.

G2 Crowd surveyed its extensive user base in its 2019 Best Software awards. The peer-to-peer review platform, which had previously ranked IBM as a leader in both its Fall and Winter 2018 Grid reports for iPaaS, placed IBM App Connect highly in its Best Software Products, Top 50 products for mid-market, and Top 50 products for Enterprise categories.

Tony Curcio, Director – Application Integration at IBM, welcomed the news: “We’re very pleased with the positive response we’ve had from both Forrester and G2 Crowd. Their feedback not only reinforces our strong product delivery in 2018, but most importantly, underlines the great value we offer our customers. We’re laser-focused on continuing to deliver a platform of exceptional value throughout 2019!”
