If you want to use IBM App Connect on IBM Cloud to connect to apps behind a firewall, you may need to define inbound IP-based firewall rules to police the outbound connectivity of App Connect.

The current values of the IP addresses for outbound connectivity are provided in the following JSON file: ibmappconnect_ips.json.

    Hello,

    Does these IP addresses not apply for SFTP outbound connectivity or am I reading them wrong?

    I’m running a couple of App Connect flows (in Location: London) both event based (triggered by a connection to a SFTP server) and API based (putting files on a SFTP server)

    During previous tests in december we have seen activity from the following three ip-addresses: 141.125.76.126, 158.175.85.120 and 158.176.68.115

    Testing it right now I see activity from the following three ip-addresses: 141.125.76.74, 158.175.85.91 and 158.176.68.84

    However neither match the three ip-ranges stated in the JSON file (https://developer.ibm.com/static/site-id/25/appconnect/ibmappconnect_ips.json), there I find the following (with “lastUpdate”: “2019-06-12-11-00-00”):
    {
    “region”: “eu-gb”,
    “datacenter”: “lon04”,
    “ip_prefix”: “141.125.67.224/28”
    },
    {
    “region”: “eu-gb”,
    “datacenter”: “lon05”,
    “ip_prefix”: “158.175.91.160/27”
    },
    {
    “region”: “eu-gb”,
    “datacenter”: “lon06”,
    “ip_prefix”: “158.176.72.96/28”
    },

    Please advise.

    Regards,
    Håkan.
