IBM App Connect can be deployed in different ways to suit your individual strategy and demands.

Software

You can download images of the software and deploy this to several different places – on your own Data Center, in a virtual machine or in a Docker image, as part of a Private cloud installation such as Red Hat OpenShift, or installed by you into a public cloud such as IBM Cloud, AWS or Microsoft Azure. Ultimately, with software you are responsible for acquiring the software images, installing, configuring, and management of the runtimes. You will have to download fix packs and perform migrations to stay on a current/in-support version.

IBM App Connect Enterprise currently offers support for the following hardware and operating system combinations. Detailed system requirements information can be found in the pages here.
