A new update release for the 10.0 series of the IBM Advance Toolchain for Linux on Power is now available.

This release includes a series of package updates:

  • GCC provides:
    • Fix for Increase internal size of RECL= of the OPEN statement.
    • Fix for Very slow formatted internal file output.
    • Fix for ICE with zero size parameter array.
    • Fix for C++ crash with __attribute((may_alias)).
    • Fix for sanitizer_stoptheworld_linux_libcdep.cc:276:22: error: aggregate ‘sigaltstack handler_stack’ has incomplete type and cannot be defined.
    • Fix for Improve buffer overflow checking in strncpy.
    • Fix for Fails to always-inline intrinsics with -flto.
    • Fix for DTIO write format stored in a string leads to severe errors.
    • Fix for Possibly latent miscompilation issue on ppc64le-linux-gnu for memcpy-bi.c with -fweb -fno-optimize-strlen.
    • Fix for ICE Bad IO basetype (12) on attempted read or write of entire DEC structure.
    • Fix for -Wsign-compare warning in eoshift0.
    • Fix for Use __BYTE_ORDER__ instead of runtime test.
    • Fix for Writing a namelist with repeated complex numbers.
    • Fix for open(newunit=funit, status=”scratch”) fails if an internal file (characters) was read previously..
    • Fix for list-directed formatting of INTEGER is missing plus on output when output open with SIGN=’PLUS’.
    • Fix for ice in get_string_len on a call to strlen with non-constant length.

  • Valgrind provides a fix for the generation of the manpages.
  • OpenSSL provides:
    • Fix for CVE-2018-0732.
    • Fix for CVE-2018-0734.
    • Fix for CVE-2018-0735.
    • Fix for CVE-2018-0737.
    • Fix for CVE-2018-0739.
    • Fix for CVE-2018-5407.
    • Fix for CVE-2019-1559.

    • RT 4242: reject invalid EC point coordinates.
    • fixed public range check in ec_GF2m_simple_oct2point.
    • Make err_clear_constant_time really constant time.
    • Fix memory overrun in rsa padding check functions.
    • Avoid an underflow in ecp_nistp521.c.
  • PAFLib provides a fix to use stdu (doubleword) instead of stwu in ebb callback prolog on ppc64.
