In this release of the open beta, we’ve added support for a z/OS application to call an API that is protected by OAuth 2.0 on a request endpoint.

OAuth 2.0 is an authorization framework that enables a third-party application to request an HTTP service with limited access permission, either on behalf of a resource owner, or the third-party client itself.

To learn more, see OAuth 2.0 support for calling an API from z/OS applications in the z/OS Connect EE documentation.
