IBM Application Discovery and Delivery Intelligence (ADDI) v126.96.36.199, our 10th continuous delivery release in 3 years, provides several new features as well as usability enhancements and fixes.
Analyzing Hogan Core Banking and CAMS™ applications
We enhanced ADDI’s extensibility features which DXC™ Technology then leveraged to create a Hogan / CAMS Connector for ADDI. This Connector together with ADDI enable analysis of Hogan Core Banking and CAMS applications so that customers can understand relationships between Hogan and non-Hogan applications including Process Dictionary Components like maps, transactions, and activities. To learn more about this and to see a demonstration, please enroll in the “DevOps in the Multicloud World” virtual summit on October 24 and attend the “Modernizing IBM Z Applications – an IBM / DXC solution for Hogan clients” session.
Analyzing Control-M applications
We have added support for BMC™ Control-M so you can include Control-M workload schedules in your analysis of batch applications. For the jobs you are analyzing, you can select to see the forward conditional job flow, the backward conditional job flow, or both. The jobs will be arranged by applications and folders in the scheduling graph.
We continue to enhance ADDI based on customer feedback and Requests for Enhancements. In this release made a number of other improvements customers requested like enhancing our COBOL and Natural® language support and adding a cross-application call graph with project level analysis. We also leveraged our authentication and authorization feature to add the ability to manage which groups of users have access to which projects. Finally, we released a Technical Preview of complexity metrics for Easytrieve®.
