IBM Application Performance Analyzer (APA) is a non-intrusive performance analyzer that identifies z/OS application performance and response time problems, and assists in eliminating them. It helps maximize productivity by improving response time in online applications, improving batch turn-around time and identifying excessive I/O activity and excessive CPU usage. Application Performance Analyzer provides more than 80 reports with 9 different categories of information.
While some developers choose to work with traditional ISPF interfaces, others prefer using an Eclipse-based GUI. IBM Application Performance Analyzer provides the best of both worlds. This video demonstrates how to use APA with an Eclipse-based gui.
